Secondary Big Art Poster
All Secondary students were invited to join during lunch times to work on a fabulous big art poster about famous art movements. It’s not part of any lesson but it’s a great opportunity for art students to participate and learn.
We’re glad to see students come and help. The poster will be displayed on the Art Classroom window. Come and see the finishing artwork after the holidays!
Coral Sculptures
This unit is about understanding how plastic waste affects our oceans and impacts corals. Year 8 students are preparing their coral sculptures for display.
They are creating a group sculpture using recycled materials as the base, covering it with fabric, and acrylic paint. Finally, they will combine all the coral sculptures on a platform and make an exhibition after the holidays.
Calendar Competition Art Exhibition
We opened an exhibition of all the amazing artwork that was entered into the Primary and Secondary Student Council's Calendar Competition.
Hundreds of students submitted artwork on the theme of 'Seasons' and all the artwork is on display in the foyer for the school to enjoy.
Many talented artists submitted work in a variety of mediums, such as chalk, pastel, paint and pencil. The four seasons are represented beautifully with beach scenes, snowy landscapes, cute spring bunnies and wonderful autumn leaves.
Well done to every student that entered the competition, your work is fantastic!
