OUR BTEC PATHWAYS

Our BTEC Business Management and Hospitality and BTEC Sport courses set our students up for success. Leading to an internationally recognised Level 3 Extended Diploma, our BTEC is an experiential programme that combines practical work experience with industry-focused learning units. With a blend of knowledge and relevant skills, our students progress into sector-related higher education courses or employment.

Business and Hospitality

Our career-focused BTEC Business Management and Hospitality course is designed for students seeking a more experiential approach to learning. Created in consultation with academics, our two-year Level 3 programme also supports progression into higher education.

BTEC units cover a variety of business areas, including HR, accounting, management, retail, and marketing. The course also includes a work experience unit, which enables our learners to gain practical, hands-on experience in the sector. We work closely with the Les Roches, for example, to offer outstanding opportunities in top hotels. The course also reinforces our link to Switzerland through exciting placements in the Swiss hospitality industry.

Sport and Business Management

Build expertise in both the sports industry and business management, preparing students for dynamic careers in sports management, coaching, or entrepreneurship.
Curriculum integrates sports science, event management, and business strategy, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
Practical experiences and sports-related projects, develop real-world skills and professional networks.

btec grading and assessment

Our BTEC students are assessed throughout the course. Their skills and knowledge are evaluated across a diverse range of activities, including assignment and project work, case studies, workplace achievements, role play, and oral presentations. Our learners receive detailed, ongoing feedback about their progress, as they work towards clear assessment and grading criteria.
