The Primary Student Leadership Conference recently took place at BIS HCMC, bringing together 42 Year 6 leaders from four Nord Anglia Education schools in Vietnam: British International School Hanoi, British Vietnamese International School Hanoi - BVIS Hanoi, British International School - Ho Chi Minh City and British Vietnamese International School Ho Chi Minh City.
Representing BVIS HCMC, 8 House Captains and 4 Executive Student Council members actively participated, developing key leadership skills such as public speaking, collaboration, and decision-making.
A highlight of the event was the Carbon Footprint Project, where students presented creative ideas to reduce environmental impact, alongside inspiring sessions on sustainability, integrity, and compassion in leadership.
Another special moment came from the Year 12 Social Impact Ambassadors from BIS, who led an engaging workshop on the power of dialogue, offering younger leaders valuable lessons and real-world insights.
The conference also featured a variety of social activities—including a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, sports, and film sessions—creating joyful moments of friendship and teamwork. We are extremely proud of how our young leaders represented the school with confidence, positivity, and commitment throughout this important event!
