Tim Richardson started his teaching career in the UK, having graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education from Exeter University. He very quickly realised his passion for international education and moved to the Middle East to teach in one of the first truly international schools in Dubai.

After initially teaching the equivalent of Primary Key Stage 2, he had a series of positions of responsibility and after 11 years in the classroom, he was appointed to Deputy Head in the same school. This marked the beginning of his senior leadership career, which has included Head of Primary at one of Dubai’s leading IB schools as well as Principal of an outstanding National Curriculum school.

After 28 years in Dubai – most of which had been spent preparing his students for further education and careers all over the world – Tim and his wife took heed of their own advice and expanded their horizons. BSG and NAIS were the ideal opportunity for him to become involved with a school with a great history and enormous potential. When the role of school principal became available to him, he was delighted. 

Tim looks forward to working with teachers, school leaders, parents, students, and NAE to develop our two schools into thriving learning hubs, where students can excel in academics, sport, and performing arts, and as mature, confident, and capable citizens of the world.

With 28 years of dedicated teaching and school leadership experience, Kerry's journey has taken her through six schools across various regions in the UK, before arriving at BSG in 2022, which have shaped her into the educator and leader she is today.
Kerry's career began as a Physical Education teacher, and her path led her through a series of leadership roles within secondary schools, including Head of PE, Director of Sport, Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, and ultimately, the prestigious position of Headteacher at a large UK secondary school, and then as the Head of Secondary at BSG, before becoming its first ever female Principal.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Physical Education with Education Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Master of Science (MSc Hons) in International Management from the University of Cumbria. Kerry has also earned the National Professional Qualification of Headteachers (NPQH) and successfully completed the NAE: APLP program for Aspiring Principals.
Kerry's career has not been limited to the UK; she has ventured to South Africa, Zambia, and Yemen, establishing partnerships with schools in these regions. Her international experiences have led her to speak at conferences on International Education and Women in Sport in these countries, as well as in Morocco.
Her passion lies in making a meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals, ensuring they realise their full potential in an ever-evolving world. Kerry believes in providing a world-class education and abundant opportunities to help students thrive. She is equally committed to leading and supporting teachers and school staff, enabling them to continually grow as lifelong learners throughout their careers. Her goal is to empower them to serve students to the best of their abilities.
Kerry's heart beats to inspire and motivate students toward both academic success and personal development as global citizens. If she could share one piece of wisdom with her students, it would be to "Be Brave." She consistently reassures them that she is proud of their accomplishments as if they were her own children.
This is the joy of being a Principal – the joy of nurturing and guiding a team of students and staff.

Campbell Maunder has over 20 years’ experience as a teacher and leader in primary schools in international settings and in his home country of New Zealand. It’s his pleasure to be Head of Primary at BSG.

BSG is his third school in China, having previously worked in NingBo and Fuzhou. He has joined the BSG community alongside his wife and three children, who are all happy to be part of this successful and thriving international learning community. They love China, and the beautiful Guangzhou area.

The energy and vibrancy of Primary learning is very special, and he feels honoured to lead such a talented and diverse group of teachers and students at BSG. He very much is looking forward to being amongst the learning happening in all areas of the school, getting to know the children and staff, and helping the process of ongoing improvement!

He is a keen surfer, runner, cyclist, triathlete, and guitarist and enjoys helping to develop programmes which allow children to develop healthy habits and find their passions.

Erinda is an experienced Director of Admissions with over 15 years in the education management industry. She has a master’s degree focused on International Law and Legal Studies and is fluent in several languages.

Erinda first arrived in China in 2002 and has since worked for several prestigious international and bilingual education institutions. In 2014, she joined Nord Anglia Education – first at The British School of Beijing and The British School of Nanjing – and has now joined The British School of Guangzhou as the Director of Admissions and Marketing.

She loves working for Admissions, because, in her own words, ‘it gives me great pleasure to meet thousands of families from different backgrounds, helping them to make the right school choice. Seeing happy faces when a student gets a good exam result or university offer makes my day’.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with friends and family, travelling, reading books, or curling up on the sofa to watch a nice movie with her two sons.
