We have been decorating the Chinese Reading Room 汉阅轩 since the beginning of this school year when the Chinese parents donated new Chinese books and Chinese magazines to the Secondary Mandarin department.
Secondary Mandarin teachers had many discussions and also received some ideas from parents on how to decorate this Chinese Reading Room during the past months. Now the room has become what we expected. During this relatively long process, we received donated books, student paintings and calligraphy works from parents. We also got two donated red sofa from Marketing.
The Chinese Reading Room now looks comfortable, peaceful, simple and has a Chinese style. The next steps for using this room are

This year's conference was a remarkable success, attracting student delegates from many different schools across Beijing, including the British School of Beijing, the International School of Beijing, Dulwich College Beijing, and Beijing World Youth Academy.
