CARING THAT DRIVES ACTION
SOCIAL IMPACT AND SELF-REFLECTION
Students build their global citizenship at the British International School of Charlotte by contributing to our community and considering their impact. From the Early Years, we focus on developing students’ empathy through numerous activities in the classroom. They then build upon this in Primary School, creating a foundation that motivates them throughout their service activities in Secondary School.
Whether your child wishes to bring their skills to the needs of local charities, design an invention that will solve a problem for others, or lead a discussion at the NAE UNICEF Student Summit in New York, they’ll strengthen their skills and create lifelong memories that will guide their leadership. Through it all, our students self-reflect on their actions, as they consider how they’ve positively impacted someone.
