Here’s your weekly update with key events and news from our school community.

Our Primary school students were all too happy to host the visit of the creator of TimesTablesRockStars (TTRS), an app used in Primary to improve the fluency of children's multiplication and division facts.

Our Year 13 students have been researching hard at the beginning of the school year, formulating ideas and conducting preliminary secondary research for their Internal Assessment research projects. 

Congratulations on making the first day of our Back to School Sustainable Uniform Sale series the most successful Sale to date. We served more customers, recirculated more uniform and raised more revenue in one day than we have at any of the previous two day Sales series.

We're thrilled to announce that the instrumental program at BISB is back in full swing! Instrumental lessons provide a holistic educational experience, blending intellectual, emotional, and physical development. 

This year, as always, we think it is important to surprise our students with something new, so every month, we organise a theme day in our kitchen. 

Three weeks in, and the school is buzzing with energy and excitement! 

Year 7 have completed their unit on Science Safety and, on Monday, were asked to show their learning by analysing a fictitious set up in one of the laboratories.

The Careers and University Counselling Office is excited to share upcoming visits from several noteworthy international universities. 

The September Back to School Sustainable Uniform Sale is next week!

Year 7 spent some time practicing their motor skills by looking at how many drops of water can fit on a 5 Forint coin. 

In July we, two of our talented pupils, Luca and Flora, went to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) in Glasgow to join the ‘Acting for camera’ summer camp course. 

The CanSat competition has become an event providing a unique opportunity for student teams to design, build, and launch a soda can-size satellite (CanSat) designed to meet specific mission objectives.  (ESA, MANT – Education -)

One of our talented young sportsman from Year 8, Martin competed in an international ice-hockey tournament over the weekend. 

In the last academic year, the PTA organised a charity gala evening for fundraising to support the Igazgyöngy Foundation. Igazgyöngy's primary goal is to help poor and underprivileged children. 

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the students who have been hard at work this week auditioning to be part of this year's school musical, 'School of Rock'. 

Year 7 pupils were introduced to Science safety this week, and after looking over some of the important aspects of this, they were given the task of modelling a chosen rule using Plasticene.
