This half-term in English, Year 8 are working on writing and designing their own magazines. They have studied the language, structure, layout and presentation conventions of a range of article types and are now putting their learning into action in their own creations. This week, they got some helpful advice from the Year 12 MUSE leaders who visited their English lessons to offer some top tips! The MUSE-led workshops supported our Year 8 students with their journalistic writing style, design features, and how to communicate their magazine’s unique selling point to capture a target audience during a pitch. Thank you to the Year 12 MUSE team for their wisdom: Zoe, Agathe, Manna, Beni, Kada, and Boti. We look forwards to seeing Year 8 pitching their finished magazines at next week’s press event!

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
