Students at Prague British International School, part of the global Nord Anglia Education family of schools, are celebrating today after receiving their long-awaited IGCSE results earlier this month. Our students’ incredible achievements have created an amazing atmosphere all across our school as we celebrate their successes.
Michael Bardsley, Principal of our School, said : “I am especially proud of our students today as we look at the incredible successes achieved in our IGCSE results. Our students have again achieved standout scores. Alongside our students’ hard work and commitment, our teachers and staff have played a vital role in today’s results and deserve our heartfelt thanks and recognition.”
Evgeny S. in Year 12 is celebrating with 8 A*s and 2 As. Evgeny said: “I’m extremely pleased with my results this year, especially because the results were much better than I had actually though they would be. I’d like to advise younger students not to give up hope, and they should never stop trying. I am aiming to continue my successes in the IB Diploma.”
Another student, Eva H. in Year 12, said her results will help secure a university placement. Eva said: “I am planning to study a course related to Sciences and am very pleased with my results. I think that my IGCSE results will serve as a good springboard to my IB Diploma and further studies at university.”

Come on, it’s not rocket science. For some people it is! A 2022 graduate from PBIS, Ilyes is currently working on his bachelor's degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, physics, and computer science at Sorbonne University in Paris. Apart from his academic work, he’s also working on a modest side project: developing a jet engine. His approach, in his own words, is to “learn as much as possible about everything” so he can apply his knowledge to real-world situations and make the world a smarter, better place.
