With this appointment, the curtain is already rising on a new era for performing arts at Compass International School Doha. The first major production under our new Performing Arts Director’s leadership, will be none other than Disney’s High School Musical, a vibrant and inspiring show that captures the energy, teamwork, and creativity we value so highly. This production, directed by Chantelle Fagan with the support of acting directors Jake Starkie, Dana Rais, and Junior Fatai, and brought to life musically under the direction of Casey Riley, will not only showcase the talent of our students but also demonstrate the depth of our performing arts programme.
The performing arts are an essential part of a holistic education at Compass International School Doha. Participation in drama, music, and dance strengthens memory and concentration as students learn lines, choreography, and musical arrangements. It teaches discipline and punctuality through regular rehearsals and performance schedules.
