BSKL Year 10 students Kalen Hanif and Matyáš played key roles in FC Kuala Lumpur’s (FCKL) Under-14 squad triumph at the Iber Cup Barcelona, securing a 2-1 victory against England's St. Johns Wood United last summer with Kalen scoring the winning goal.
Their achievement was recognised on 10th March when the team met with Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh. The minister congratulated them on their outstanding performance, highlighting their dedication and teamwork on an international stage.
FCKL’s success is a proud moment for both the club and BSKL, showcasing the talent and determination of these young athletes.
Praise plays a vital role in supporting student wellbeing and motivation, particularly during exam periods when pressure and stress are often heightened. In these high-stakes moments, students may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about their abilities.
On Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April, BSKL proudly hosted the prestigious World Scholar’s Cup—a global academic tournament that brings together students from across the world to compete in four challenging academic events over two exciting days.
