One of the things which makes our Upper Primary unique is that our students regularly enjoy Leadership Lunch talks delivered by speakers about a range of professions and current issues.
This week our Year 4 students joined their very first Leadership Lunch as part of their transition into the Upper Primary in August. They joined the lunchtime talk by Mr Bruno Leonardo Segura, a Mexican student aged just 14 years old, who spoke about how the cultural melting pot begun with historical trade routes is still important today as we all learn about one another, celebrating our similarities and differences to collaboratively create a better world for us all.
The students were fantastic and made the link to our school motto of ‘Be Kind’ explaining that if we treat everyone equally and each of us plays our small part in being kind to one another then the ripple effect can impact everyone in a positive way!
Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
