The theme of sustainability and environmental awareness hummed across the school last week, including during Ms Shannan Murphy’s Leadership Lunch on Climate Change.
Ms Murphy, the British Embassy in Beijing’s Counsellor on Climate Change, Energy and Environment, spoke about global trends and issues relating to development and climate change with a small group of our students. She led an animated Q&A session, sharing her insights and also sparking the creativity, compassion and commitment of our students to working together on these challenging themes.
Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
