The Year 2 children dazzled their parents and families this week with their wonderful performances of ‘You Are Special’.
The play based on the book of the same name by author Max Lucado tells the story of Punchinello, the wooden Wemmick who believes that he isn't good enough because of what others say about him.
All day, every day, the Wemmicks give each other stickers – stars for the gifted and beautiful, and dots to mark every kind of flaw and imperfection.
It is a beautiful story that reminds us that regardless of the opinions of others, we are special just the way we are.
The Year 2 children have worked hard to learn their lines and remember the words and actions to all of the songs. We are very proud of them!

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
