Thanks to their hard work, determination and enthusiasm towards their learning, Storks earnt themselves a trip over to the cookery room as their Marble reward.
Applying their Design Technology, Maths and English skills, Storks followed a set of instructions to accurately weigh and measure the ingredients to make gingerbread cookies. They displayed great collaboration as they got their hands dirty mixing the ingredients together, before carefully rolling out the dough and cutting out their winter themed cookies. The children then had to endure an agonising wait as they baked in the oven!
'We had lots of fun making the cookies, the best bit was cutting out our shapes. They tasted sweet and delicious.' Maryam, Year 4 Storks.
'They were very good! I loved making the cookies, especially the dough and maxing it together with my hands.' Harry, Year 4 Storks.
