We've been learning about our solar system.
The Year 5 Kookaburras have been finding out about the different planets in our solar system. Working in pairs, they have been on a mission to discover as much as possible about a particular planet. Each pair had a different planet to research, from Mercury to Neptune! The children used a range of resources such as books, apps and websites to gather the information.
Then, they presented their information with two mini tours of the Rocky Planets and Gas Giants. Children shared their finished fact files, as well as their learning from each other, on the online board platform 'Padlet'.

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
