In the past two weeks we have been looking at how amazing we are as individuals. We all have our own special ‘superpowers’ of kindness, helpfulness and resilience that we bring to school every day. We have had the chance to read a range of books about how we can appreciate each other’s differences and meet new challenges.
We read the story 'My Hair' and learnt about our differences in the way that we express ourselves. The children got to explore a range of activities such as braiding, cutting and making hairstyles to show appreciation for our differences.
One of the Early Learning Goals is to be able to manage our basic hygiene and personal needs. As part of learning about ourselves and our differences, we also learnt ways to look after ourselves. This week is also Oral Health Week for the children to go try different hands-on activities such as brushing and cleaning to learn about the importance of oral hygiene.

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
