Year 1 have spent the past few weeks learning all about the body and have practised naming the different parts of our body. They also looked at the human skeleton and found out what the biggest and smallest bones in our body are, as well as all the different types of clothing we wear such as wooly sweaters, cotton socks, and leather shoes.
Students put all of this together and made their very own self-portraits by cutting out a picture of their heads, sticking it on a big piece of paper and drawing their bodies.
Year 3 have been learning about the Romans. Students wrote about the different types of clothing soldiers used to wear, as well as what chariots were used for and how roads were built back then. They also spent time designing and creating their own ancient civilisation and acted out a short play.
