Year 4 have been working scientifically and learning all about electricity. They have been identifying electrical components including cells, bulbs and buzzers and then building their own circuits.
They have done some excellent collaborative work as they identified the differences between conductors and insulators and used their prediction skills to see which material, fruit or vegetable added to a circuit would light up the bulb!
Finally, the children learned the importance of switches in a circuit and how they are useful, and constructed their own switches of various types to add to their circuits.
