Year 1 (Non-Native Group)
Students learned about the classroom. They were excited to walk into each classroom to show and introduce the classroom in complete sentences.
We also drew Chinese characters in the air using Tai Chi motions along with music.
Year 3 (Non-Native Group)
Year 3 students continued to learn about hobbies. They played a ‘hide the card’ game to practise speaking.
One student needed to hide a vocabulary card behind a classmate for the others to discover as quickly as they could, then they needed to speak a sentence using the vocabulary on the card. Amazing fun!
Year 5 and 6 (Non-Native Group)
Year 5 and 6 students used their Fluent Thinking skills and came up with lots of great ideas to help them write their own story. We used a collection of vocabulary, story maps, teamwork and visual aids to allow the students to write creatively.

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
