This week, the Year 1 students have been learning all about the different types of clothes we wear. They have practised reading, writing, drawing and even singing about clothes. What’s the difference between trousers, pants, and jeans? Is it a jacket or coat? Cap or hat? These are just a few of the many questions we discussed before getting into the groove with a song about Polly and Molly, the cats who love to wear super, cool, awesome clothes.
In Year 5, we practised constructing negative present perfect sentences by using ‘yet’. Students had to interview each other and find out what things they have or haven’t done before. They were asking some great questions such as: Have you visited a castle before? Have you been to the Great Wall of China before? Have you been to Disney Land before?

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
