Year 4 have been learning all about the Amazon rainforest and have been tackling the issues that deforestation presents.
They have done some excellent collaborative work, using their oracy skills to showcase their knowledge of the topic, including back and forth debates which have shown the intricacies of what is happening in the Amazon from different points of views.
They have also been using their IT and editing skills to create news reports utilising a green screen with some amazing results combined audio files with live recordings. What excellent reporters then transformed into for the activity!

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
