This week, our Pre-Nursery children had a great time celebrating Chinese New Year! We talked about what we could see on the day, how we celebrate it and read stories about Nián the Monster and the Zodiac. Children have developed more vocabulary and more understanding of the traditions of the festival.
In class, children enjoyed role plays at the Chinese restaurant, and sang the Happy New Year song in both English and Chinese. They were also invited to a few festive dances and engaged in different art activities, such as making rabbits, lanterns and fireworks.
We had so much fun! Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
