We have had a great time in EAL with the Year 1 students this week learning new vocabulary about lots of yummy food. Using our new vocabulary, we then discussed and discovered what foods we all like and don’t like and practised constructing sentences with each other in class. The children then enjoyed drawing some of their favourite foods and coloured them in beautifully before sharing what they drew with the rest of the class.
In Year 2 we jumped into the next chapter of our Super Friends story who were at the zoo this week. We learnt about the zookeeper who needed help after all the animals escaped, but thankfully the Super Friends Thunder, Flash, Whisper, and Misty were on hand to help return the animals back into the zoo. The children then enjoyed rewriting the story and used their imaginations to create their own endings. The students were then very confident and brave to present their story in front of the class. We look forward to the next chapter of Super Friends!

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
