The Year 2 children received a special message on a paper boat! The letter is from a boy called Tom who is taking a journey on a river.
Our book focus these next two weeks is, A River by Marc Martin. This week, the children learnt how to write a letter to reply to Tom so we could warn him of the dangers along the way on his journey. We began the week learning the features of a letter. Later, we moved on to completing a plan for a letter.
The children used very ambitious adjectives, noun phrases and even possessive apostrophes in their writing.

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
