Science Week at the British International School Budapest has been a whirlwind of discovery, excitement, and hands-on learning. Students across all year groups have immersed themselves in engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of the world around them.
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the Top Dog Aircraft Challenge, where students tested their engineering skills to design, build, and launch a variety of model aircraft. From gliders to rotorcraft, students experimented with different designs and materials, applying principles of aerodynamics and physics in creative ways. The competition took off with enthusiasm as students aimed for the longest flight time, most stable flight, and most innovative design.
Beyond the challenge, classrooms buzzed with activity as students explored scientific principles through experiments, investigations, and interactive demonstrations.
Science Week at BISB continues to be a highlight, inspiring future scientists, engineers, and innovators. With a strong emphasis on learning by doing, students leave the week with not only a deeper love for science but also the confidence to explore and ask questions about the world around them.
