On Wednesday, the Junior Changemakers held their much-anticipated Secondhand Clothes Sale—and what a brilliant afternoon it was! The event drew a wonderful crowd, and nearly 150 items of clothing found new homes.
Our students showed incredible energy and teamwork throughout the afternoon. With the support of a few kind parent volunteers, they sorted all the donations by size and gender, carefully arranged them on tables and rails, and set up a cashier station complete with a sales tracker. From welcoming customers to managing the till, they did it all—with smiles and enthusiasm!
By 16:45, there were definitely some tired feet, but also a huge sense of pride. Thanks to everyone who donated, shopped, or helped on the day, we’re thrilled to announce that we raised over 170,000 HUF!
Watch this space—our Changemakers are already looking ahead to what comes next!

Year 8 Hungarian students went to a Hungarian trip to Gödöllői Királyi Kastély. We learned that Sisi and her family came to this castle in their free time to relax and hunt during fall, winter, and spring.
This spring break proved to be both busy and rewarding for British International School Budapest students, Laura Ivanka and Lizanna Ivanka, who achieved remarkable results at two major RoboCup Junior competitions.
