As Season 2 comes to a close, we are incredibly proud of the dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship demonstrated by our student-athletes across Primary and Secondary School. It has been a remarkable season, filled with outstanding performances, valuable experiences, and fantastic achievements for the BISB WOLVES.
This season, our Basketball teams competed in 20 weekday fixtures against five other international schools in the region, strengthening their skills and teamwork on the court. We also successfully participated in DVAC Festivals and Tournaments, where our teams performed exceptionally well.
As a school, we were honoured to host three DVAC events and two Budapest Cups, providing our students with valuable opportunities to compete on home ground. Additionally, we launched the inaugural BISL U11 Basketball and Football Festivals, which saw an enthusiastic turnout of young athletes, fostering a friendly and supportive sporting atmosphere, further enhanced by the incredible parental support.
One of our proudest moments was the successful hosting of the NAGGE U14 Sports Tournament, a landmark three-day event that welcomed over 200 student-athletes from eight schools across Europe, including teams from Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia, and Poland. Our students demonstrated integrity, sportsmanship, and camaraderie, making this tournament a truly memorable experience. We also hosted the NAGGE U19 Basketball Tournament, which was another resounding success.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
