Last Saturday afternoon, together with the Hungarian Literary Walking Club, we embarked on a literary walk in Újlipótváros (13th district), exploring the life and poetry of Radnóti Miklós, the renowned Hungarian Holocaust poet. We visited key locations from his childhood, including 8 Kádár utca, where he was born, 7 Falk Miksa utca, 5, Szent István körút, and later 1 Pozsonyi út, where he lived with his wife, Fanni Gyarmati. Along the route, we also encountered two statues poignantly depicting different phases of his life—one capturing a moment of happiness and another portraying the suffering he endured in a forced labor camp. This reflective journey deepened our understanding of Radnóti’s life, poetry, and the historical tragedies he faced.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
