BISB International Summer Fair – Mark Your Calendars!
One of the most exciting upcoming events at BISB is the International Summer Fair, scheduled for 10th May. This will be a grand celebration of culture, food, and traditions, offering families the chance to experience the diversity within our community.
Each country will have the opportunity to host a food station and organize a fun activity to showcase their unique heritage.
Preparations are already underway! Last week, country representatives met to start the planning process and discuss event details.
As this is a major event, we will need the support of many volunteers to make it a success. If you’d like to contribute, whether by helping with food, activities, or logistics, please keep an eye out for more updates on how you can get involved.
We’re looking forward to creating a festival filled with fun, delicious food, and a celebration of cultures. Let’s make it unforgettable!
We are very lucky in our community to celebrate diversity in different ways. The Hungarian breakfast was a prime example how culture through food could help to understand a country’s traditions. Tasting the home-made selections, the very carefully picked offerings, sharing the sources and some recipes made our Bistro a vibrant place to be.
This amazing experience could have not happened without the support, passion and involvement of the following proud parents:
Mercédesz Kő,
Tímea Suri,
Andrea Ainsworth,
Petra Puskás,
Judit Orbán,
Eszter Kálovics,
Ildikó Koch,
Kata Pikler
Our heartfelt appreciation for you to make the Friday morning one to remember!

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
