We are delighted to share the outstanding achievement of our Year 3 student, Hanna, who made us proud on the national stage.
Hanna competed in the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation’s ‘Zsebibaba’ team competition , earning a medal and helping her team secure an impressive 5th place in the national rankings. As a key member of her team, Hanna contributed significantly across all four aspects – floor exercise, balance beam, high bar, and vault.
Reflecting on her success, Hanna emphasised that it would not have been possible without countless hours of training, the unwavering support of her family, and the understanding and flexibility provided by the school. Balancing her academic responsibilities with intensive training was no small feat. The BISB community is proud of her stellar performance and wishes her continued success in her pursuit of excelling in gymnastics.
Last week, the British International School Budapest campus came alive with colour, energy, and excitement as our youngest students took part in the annual Primary and Early Years Sports Day!
A huge congratulations to Lizanna (Year 4) and Laura Ivánka (Year 9) for an incredible week of achievements in science and innovation!
