On January 10th, our current Year 12 IBDP Visual Arts students had a fantastic time on enriching gallery visits to The Hungarian National Gallery and Kunsthalle (Műcsarnok) with Ms. Evans and Ms. Ferguson. The students saw a wide variety of artworks which included new exhibitions such as ‘TechnoCool’ and ‘Judit Reigl 100’ whilst also visiting the permanent collections that the galleries have on offer. Seeing both new exhibitions and permanent collections provided a mixture of fresh, contemporary artworks and timeless classics. It was a lovely day filled with exploring and sketching various artworks, all gearing up for the upcoming comparative study. The mix of learning and enjoyment made the trip unforgettable, and it sparked some creative ideas amongst students and teachers alike!

Year 8 Hungarian students went to a Hungarian trip to Gödöllői Királyi Kastély. We learned that Sisi and her family came to this castle in their free time to relax and hunt during fall, winter, and spring.
This spring break proved to be both busy and rewarding for British International School Budapest students, Laura Ivanka and Lizanna Ivanka, who achieved remarkable results at two major RoboCup Junior competitions.
