Over the last 2 weeks the year 4 classes have taken a step back in time to the era of the ancient Romans. Visiting the local site of the Roman settlement of Aquincum, the children were able to imagine what life could have been like in those times. They enjoyed learning about Roman toilet habits, including the infamous 'poo stick' as well as about how Romans ate whilst reclining on divans. In the afternoon, the children took part in arts and crafts activities, practising mosaic-making skills, painting frescos and leather purse making. They all thoroughly enjoyed discovering history literally on our doorstep.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
