After five years, the long-awaited Nord Anglia Global Games Europe U19 Football Tournament returned to BISB.Six teams represented their schools from all over Europe: Ireland, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The tournament was a great success, full of heated games and excellent competition but all the schoolsparticipated with a high level of integrity and displayedsportsmanship, just to mention two of our numerouscommon values.
BISB WOLVES achieved a remarkable result, finishing on the podium with both the girls’ and the boys’ teams, adding two more cups to our already packed trophy cabinet. Massive congratulations to all players, their coaches and everyone who was involved in our athletes’ road to success.
On the same weekend BISB hosted the DVAC Varsity Boys Volleyball Festival and despite DVAC Festivals are non-competitive events our boys managed to win against our all-time rivals, the extremely strong team from BISBratislava. The girls played the same event at ICSB with only a small team and showed some promising performances. Two MS Football teams were also involved in DVAC Festivals last Saturday: our boys travelled to AISV in Vienna, Austria and scored 12 goals while concededonly two; in the meantime, our girls won all their matches at AISB, Nagykovácsi and displayed excellent performances as a team.
Thank you to all colleagues, athletes and supporters for making this weekend such a success. We look forward to some further DVAC and NAGGE tournaments on 4th, 11th, and 24-25th November, later in this season.
Go WOLVES!

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
Our Year 2 school trip to the Children's Railway this week was a great experience. We started our journey at Hűvösvölgy and made our way up to Széchenyi-hegy.
