Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ finally came to BIS. With its family-friendly storyline, catchy songs and colourful costumes it was an ideal choice for the Year 6 production.
Joseph was obviously his father’s favourite and therefore disliked by his brothers. Deciding to get rid of him, they sell him as a slave. How would Joseph survive in the far off land of Egypt? Would he ever be able to forgive his brothers? As the drama unfolded, the presence of characters like Joseph (all six of them!), his brothers, Pharaoh and Potiphar made you laugh and cry along the way.
The children of Year 6 treated us to a musical extravaganza. They choreographed their dances, designed costumes and produced magnificent scenery. The entire cast performed to perfection, all remembering their song words and projecting them with great expression. The audience were gripped from start to finish and could not help but sing along to classic songs such as ‘Any Dream Will Do’ and ‘Go Go Joseph’. Well done Year 6 on a superb performance and thank you to everybody who came along to support them.

With over 1,200 students, staff, and parents participating in the 5km run or walk, the event was a true reflection of the school’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of community.
At BIS HCMC, our Primary Expeditions are more than just school trips—they are life-changing expeditions that shape our students into confident, independent individuals. Earlier this month, our Year 4, 5, and 6 students embarked on thrilling journeys to Long Hai, Can Gio, and Cat Tien.
