On 22nd May, BIS Abu Dhabi proudly celebrated the graduation of our incredible Class of 2025. This special event brought together students, families, and staff to celebrate a milestone that was years in the making, one filled with dedication, friendships, and unforgettable memories.
The school auditorium was filled with pride and excitement as the ceremony unfolded. Graduates from two academic pathways were recognised this year: students from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the very first cohort of the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.
The event began with a warm welcome from our Head of Secondary, Mrs. Áine McGlue. Diplomas were awarded one by one, each marking not just academic success, but personal growth, resilience, and the culmination of a unique BIS Abu Dhabi journey.
Among this year’s cohort were 10 students who began their learning journey with us in EYFS, affectionately known as our ‘BISAD Babies’. Their graduation symbolised the deep-rooted connection many students and families have with our school, and the strong sense of belonging that defines BIS Abu Dhabi.
The ceremony also featured a heartfelt speech by graduate Tia Mathew, who brought laughter and emotion in equal measure, capturing the spirit, friendships, and memories of the Class of 2025. Our Principal, Mr. Alan Cocker, concluded the event with sincere and thoughtful reflections on the achievements of the cohort and their exciting futures ahead.
Following the formal ceremony, celebrations continued in The Hub and the Senior Academy, where graduates, their families, and teachers enjoyed refreshments, captured memories, and spent time together reflecting on an unforgettable journey.
