Admissions are now open for 2025/2026
The CCA booking system will open on Sunday, 3rd October at 3pm, and will close on Tuesday, 5th October at 8pm.
Parents should check their CCA account on Thursday, 7th October to confirm successful enrolment of CCA choices.
To see a list of the activities available and instructions on how to book them using our new CCA management system, please click here.
Due to current COVID regulations, all activities will be within the student macro bubbles, and classroom-based activities will have limited numbers due to social distancing guidelines. Sporting activities will take place in Year 3 and above, on the relevant year group's current PE day. These are recreational only and open to students of all sporting abilities.
Students are placed into clubs at random; it is not ‘first-come, first-served’ model. If your child is not successful in some of their choices of CCAs, waiting lists are formed automatically, and those children will be prioritised for their preferred CCA choices next term.
We are delighted to be able to offer CCAs after such a long period of time and look forward to being able to offer even more activities as restrictions are further lifted in the future. Our priority is to continue to keep everyone safe, and everyone's support in looking after our community is appreciated.

The British International School Abu Dhabi (BIS Abu Dhabi) was deeply honoured to welcome Her Highness Sheikha Shamma Bint Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan to its campus on Thursday, 17 April 2025. Her Highness, President & CEO of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA) and The Climate Tribe, is a distinguished entrepreneur, thought leader, and researcher with a deep commitment to sustainability, climate change, and gender equity.
At The British International School Abu Dhabi, we believe that education is not just about academic success—it’s about nurturing compassionate, responsible young people who understand the importance of giving back. This Ramadan, I have been truly moved by the way our students have embraced the spirit of the holy month, demonstrating kindness, generosity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Inspired by the latest Nord Anglia INSIGHTS article exploring why the Early Years are the most important years of a child’s education, we know that a child’s most significant learning happens during this time - in ways that are not always immediately visible.
