EARLY YEARS ADDITIONAL SESSIONS

At BIS Abu Dhabi, we recognise that the Foundation Years are integral to a child’s development and want to maximise the opportunities we provide to our youngest students to ensure that firm foundations are in place, ready for the rest of their exciting learning journey through school.

Early Years Additional Sessions Programme

In addition to our core EYFS offering, we provide further opportunities for our youngest learners through the Early Years Additional Sessions (EYAS) Programme. Available to all Nursery students at no extra cost, EYAS includes two additional hours of curricular teaching per week, alongside a selection of free after-school Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs).

We are also pleased to offer extended learning for our FS2 students, enabling them to stay for an extended school day with the addition of CCAs.

All CCAs are carefully designed to enhance the EYFS curriculum, offering enriching experiences in Physical Development, Communication and Language, and Expressive Arts and Design. These activities also reflect our strong links with Juilliard and MIT, providing exciting and meaningful opportunities for our youngest students.
